Sean Woods is the Director of Development at Starboard Realty Advisors, LLC, overseeing various facets of real estate development, from entitlements and due diligence to construction management and project management. With over fifteen years of experience in the industry, Sean has demonstrated expertise in optimizing project management processes, including effective scheduling, budgeting, and executing successful development projects. Notably, he plays a critical role in spearheading our ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) development and construction initiatives, along with other development endeavors, contributing significantly to the company’s success.
Mr. Woods began his career as a construction project manager, where he gained invaluable experience managing trade partners, navigating regulatory requirements with municipalities, and honing his practical construction knowledge. Excelling in managing multiple construction phases concurrently, Sean consistently delivered successful development projects on time and within budget constraints.
Drawing from his extensive background in the home building industry and his tenure with the Irvine Company, where he managed the redevelopment of numerous unit renovations and common area projects across Orange County and San Diego, Sean brings a wealth of development knowledge to the table. His hands-on experience and strategic insight have been instrumental in driving successful ADU development projects and other real estate development endeavors.
Academically, Mr. Woods holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with an Emphasis in Real Estate Development from Chapman University. Additionally, he pursued further education, earning a Master’s in Real Estate Development from the University of Arizona. He is also a licensed real estate Broker in the state of California. Mr. Woods continues to play an instrumental role in driving Starboard Realty Advisors’ development efforts to new heights.
