Bradford Long, VP of Asset Management, brings extensive multifamily asset management experience and a robust transactional background. Throughout his career, Bradford has been involved with more than 20,000 units across more than 23 states. Prior to joining Starboard, Bradford was a Director at Community Development Partners (CDP), a top 10 affordable housing developer, overseeing a large asset management department and its portfolio of LIHTC assets. Bradford and his team led the underwriting and operational performance of LIHTC developments. Before his tenure at CDP, Bradford was at Eagle Rock Advisors, a private equity firm in NYC specializing in value-add multifamily, where he led the asset management team and drove returns for investors for over 6,000 units located in the northeast. Earlier in his career, Bradford was at Resource Real Estate, a Philadelphia-based private equity firm, where he contributed to the growth of their national real estate platform from 3,000 to 15,000 apartments through acquisitions, dispositions, distressed debt workouts and asset management.
Bradford holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from Penn State. He currently resides in Newport Beach with his wife and three children, actively participating in the community by volunteering across several youth sports organizations.
